ELSIE LILLIAN HOLLOWAY Elsie Lillian Holloway born June 16, 1917, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2002 at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall, with family at her side. She will be mourned by her children, Margaret of Stonewall, Bob (Jean) of Lundar, Jim of Stonewall, Tom (Betty) of Calgary, Florence (Bill) of Elm Creek; eight grand-children and their spouses; three great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law Mrs. Nellie Appleyard; and nieces and nephews. Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Robert in August 1974 and by infant grand-daughter Susan. A prayer service and viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3 at 8:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anglican Church of the Ascension, Stonewall. Rev. Ken Garrity will officiate, with interment to follow at the Stonewall Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in Moms memory may be made to the Anglican Church of the Ascension (Building Fund), Stonewall or to CancerCare Manitoba, 109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family wishes to thank the staff at Stonewall Hospital, Dr. G. Pinniger and especially the home care staff who lovingly cared for Mom. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
