STAN KUDLOWICH It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Stan Kudlowich who passed away on Dec-ember 31, 2001, beloved husband of Diana, father of Michael, and brother of Olga Kamenar, of Tillsonburg, ON. Stan was born on February 22, 1936 on the family homestead located in Birds Hill Park. At an early age the family moved to Ontario, where he lived, and worked until 1982. He then returned to his roots in Manitoba. At the age of 46 years he started a new career with M.P.I.C., and worked there until his early retirement. Retirement brought memorable Saturdays with his coffee club. His home and yard were an ongoing creation where family and friends were always greeted with a smile, hug, and welcoming handshake. He was a collector of numerous items, and had a story to tell with each treasure, but the treasure he was most proud of was his son Michael. Of great pride to Stan was when the provincial interpreters did much restoration work on the family homestead in Birds Hill Provincial Park. He visited the homestead often and still thought of it as home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Gacki presiding.
