She was a shining example of love to us all. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Elinor to the Salvation Army Public Relations Office, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R2 or to World Vision Canada (Memorial Childcare Fund), 101-902 St. James St. Winnipeg, MB, R3G 3J7. The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright sea - shells in the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains... For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
