Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY GLOWACH On January 2, 2002, our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully at St. Josephs Residence at the age of 94 years. Mary was born on June 16, 1907 in Cooks Creek, MB. She spent her early life in Okno and Arborg, MB and moved to Winnipeg in 1956. Mary is survived by her daughters, Stella Kazimir, Pauline Glowach, Olga (John) Sirman, Anne (Norm) Burgess, Vicky Bouvier, and Helen (George) Lawson, and by her son Steve (Rose) Glowach. She also will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and their spouses. Mary was everyones "Grandma" and will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. A visit to Grandmas was not complete without a care package of homemade perogies and handknit slippers. Despite her failing health, she remained alert and conversational until the moment when she was called to her Lord, and continued to surprise us with her quick wit and sense of humour. Our family wishes to express our sincerest thanks to the second floor staff of St. Josephs Residence. Although Mary was with them for only a short time, we greatly appreciated the care, love, and compassion they extended to her. Also our thanks to the Home Care and VON staff who helped Mary live independently as long as possible. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Residence Chapel, 1149 Leila Ave. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
