WALTER STANLEY (LADDIE) ZUB On January 2, 2002, with his family by his side, Walter passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Peter Zub. Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Alexandra; daughter Alison and son-in-law Cameron Bowie; grand-children, Kevin and Ian; two sisters, Mary and Wanda; and many nieces and nephews. Walter was born in Winnipeg on September 27, 1918. He worked as a machinist for the CPR until 1979 when he retired. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his family and responding to requests of "Uncle Lad, can you fix this?" Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish donations in Walters memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. K.
