FLORENCE EDITH SCHMIDT It is with sadness that the family announces the death of their Mom, Gramma and Great Gramma on January 2, 2002 at the Luther Home. Mom was predeceased by her husband Gus 1973 and her sister Mary Hemminger. She is survived by her son Ron and daughter-in-law Linda; her daughter Beverly and son-in-law Bruce; grandchildren, Rhonda (Geoff), Deanna (Dean) and Tara (Bato), Ryan and Kevin; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Jayden. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sister Lucy Perry and brother Bill Nutty both of British Columbia. Mom made a lot of friends in her lifetime and will be truly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed the last few years living at the Luther Home participating in the activities that were offered there and enjoying the company of still more friends that she seemed to make so easily. Mom enjoyed getting out even if it was just going for a drive, taking in a movie or going out for lunch. But her greatest pride in life was her family. Her eyes would brighten up when the girls brought the little ones over. Mom was probably a little tired after they left but we know they made her day. Austin and Jayden will also miss their Gramma Schmidt as they so lovingly called her. Mom was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third great-grandchild due in just a few weeks. For those of you who have a Mother, treasure her with care, for you wont know the heartache until she isnt there. Thank you for all the love and guidance that you gave us Mom and Gramma, we will always treasure your love and remember your sweet ways. A memorial service for Mom will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Pastor Don Engel officiating. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
