Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDMYTRO PROKIPCHUK On Sunday, January 6, 2002 at the Vita Personal Care Home, Dmytro Prokipchuk passed away at the age of 98. He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Stella (Fred) Sciberras of Dugald, Anne Faykes of Winnipeg, and Sonya (Wayne) Meneer of Winnipeg; three sons, Walter (Irene), Jack (Rose), and John (Mary) all of Winnipeg; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children, and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister Kay Arseney of Tolstoi, and one brother Jack of Vita. Dmytro was predeceased by his wife Lena; two sons, Bill and Vincent; two grandchildren, Curtis Meneer and James Prokipchuk; three brothers, Bill, Mike, and Steve; and four sisters, Mary, Ann, Lena, and Doris. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel, Steinbach. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vita with Rev. Fr. Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Smith, Dr. Azar and the nursing staff at Vita Personal Care Home and the Vita Hospital for the care given to our father during his stay there. Donations may be made in Dmytros memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of ones choice. Loewen Funeral Chapel, Steinbach in care of arrangements.
