BEATRICE SIMMEL Peacefully on January 6, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Beatrice Simmel passed away at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Nicholas, of 49 years, on February 9, 1990. Beatrice leaves to cherish her memory her children, Theresa and husband Martin, Raymond and wife Priscilla, and Brenda and husband Ron; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as other family and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrices memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
