JENNIFER KLEINE GOLDEN (nee SEKYERE) Tragically, at the age of 29 Jennifer Kleine Golden (nee Sekyere) passed away. Jenny leaves behind her beloved husband Jonathan and her loving parents, Hanna and Godfrey Sekyere. Her uncle and aunt Terry and Jana Westley and her cousin Phill of Calgary will sorrowfully miss her. Auntie Jenny will be missed by Charles and Beverley (parents-in-law) Eva Golden, Eran Plotnik, Stevi and Omri Golden Plotnik; and by Richard, Susan, Ashleigh and Adam Golden; and by Michael, Karen, Ciro, and Maya Golden; as well as her special friend Kelly Alexander. Her grand-mother Maria predeceased Jenny. Jenny will be mourned for by her numerous other family, friends and colleagues. Jenny was a shining star whose mere presence could light up any room. Jenny was born in Europe and spent her early childhood in Ghana. At the age of five Jenny and her family moved to Winnipeg. She grew up in Westwood graduating in the top of her class at Westwood Collegiate. At an early age Jennys intelligence and artistry were apparent. Her level of excellence was rewarded upon receiving numerous awards and scholarships. Upon entering University Jenny began in the Faculty of Science and proceeded to complete her degree in Pharmacy. Jenny set high professional goals for herself. Spending countless hours educating herself in all aspects of health care and by completing her residency in pharmacy. Jenny devoted considerable effort to counselling her patients thoroughly with regards to their ailments and medications. A strong believer in pharmacist patient interaction, Jenny worked on the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Patient Care Project. Jenny loved giving lectures and working with pharmacy and nursing students as well as practicing pharmacists. Jenny had a love of reading, of travel and stimulating conversation. Her travels took her through Canada, United States, Australia, Mexico, and Jamaica. Jamaica was the most cherished place in Jennys heart as it was where she truly fell in love, became engaged and subsequently married on her annual trips. Jennys greatest gift was her ability to give to others. All those who knew her felt her love and endless generosity. Instantly captivating, Jennys joyous spirit made her admired and loved by all who knew her. This joyous sprit is what now remains in all our hearts and will always be with us. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. Donations in Jennifers memory may be made to the Jennifer K.
