In 1939 she married John Nowosad, together they farmed and raised their family. Mom was always very devoted to her family. Mom loved gardening, and as long as she could, she maintained a lovely flower garden. Mom also loved to crochet and spent many an evening making us special gifts. Mom spoiled her grandchildren as she loved to cook and bake. She made sure that visitors never left hungry. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital for the special care given to her. Special thanks to the Home Care Ladies who not only cared for Mom, but also gave her their friendship and affection. These ladies deserve the utmost respect for all that they are and all that they do for others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
