Germaine was born August 23, 1930, in St. Boniface. She married Henri on October 11, 1947, and for 54 years, they provided companionship and support for one another. Her love for animals gave way to the starting of Pee Wee Cattery where she was able to demonstrate her skills as an entrepreneur. She also volunteered at the Spay and Neuter Clinic in Winnipeg. When Henri retired, Germaine looked into another one of her many skills, and she became a florist, working under Jim Fuller at Top Hat Florist. She enjoyed learning the art of flower arranging. Having had a wonderful life and sharing it with her husband Henri, they spent the last 10 winters in Weslaco, TX. Germaine was predeceased by her twin brother Ralph; sisters, Elsie, Mary, Madeleine. Germaine is survived by her husband Henri Ledoyen of 54 years; also left to mourn are her children, Norman and wife Joanne, Raymond (Sharon Allard), Anne-Marie and husband Dave, Cathy and husband James; grandchildren, Jacquie (raised by grandparents) and husband Syd, Pascale (Real Lambert), Dominique (Ryan Leavey), David and wife Shannon, Shaun and Brett, Raymond (Michelle Lambert), Angelique (Derek Cathcart), Andrew; and one great-grandchild Gabrielle Lambert.
