JEAN (EUDOKIA) HRABAR Our dear mother passed away at the East Gate Lodge in Beausejour, MB on January 10, 2002 at the age of 93 years. She was born to John and Pearl Werbovetsi in the Lakedale District of Manitoba. She married Mike Hrabar in 1928 and they had two daughters, Pauline and Anne. The family then moved to Winnipeg and later upon retirement to Tyndall, MB. Mike predeceased her in 1996, she lived at Tyndall Manor and later East Gate Lodge. We wish to thank the staff there for their kindness and good care of her. Besides her husband Mike, she was predeceased by son-in-law Mike Fansega of British Columbia, her two brothers, Harry and Bill; as well as four sisters, Mary, Anne, Margaret and Doris. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughters and son-in-law Pauline Fansega and Anne Lokits (Steve) of Nutimik Lake, MB. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Michael (Teresa) Fansega, Donald, Kathy and Marty Fansega, Teresa Lokits (Daniel Messerli) and Andy Lokits of Calgary; as well as three great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Brandon Fansega and Stephanie Messerli. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Homes, Beausejour with Rev. Alexander Harkavyi officiating. Interment will be in the Tyndall Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Jeans memory to a charity of ones choice.
