JOHN SINGBEIL Mr. John Singbeil, aged 74 years, of Golden Bay, MB dearly beloved husband of Gladys, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2002 at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB. Dad worked for Pine Falls Paper Company and Dryden Pulp & Paper, logging. He then went to BACM out of Seddons Corner as a heavy equipment operator and moved with BACM to Birds Hill and then on to Garven Road. He retired as a plant operator after more than 25 years of service. Besides this, he ran a mixed farm operation until his untimely passing. Dad enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and all the farm animals to which he gave TLC to each day. Its comforting to know that the lives that Dad touched, this, will be remembered by many. He leaves to mourn his wife Gladys; his children, Larry (Sandy), Dallas (George), Norma (Allan), Garland (Kathy), Bonnie (Kelly) his grandchildren, Kassy (Kevin), Colleen (Rick), Josh, Trevor (Mary), Tracey (Matthew), Bryna, Shannon (Keith), Ken, Amber, Erin, Cole, Owen, Dylan and Hailie; 10 great-grandchildren; his brothers, William (Olga) and Leonard (Irene), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his son Elden; his parents, Reinhold and Helena; his brothers, Harry and Irvin; and sister Elsie Richter. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 403-1st Street N, Beausejour with Pastor Dale Berg officiating. Interment will follow at the Golden Bay cemetery. Friends may view on Tuesday, January 15 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel and also at the church prior to the service.
