Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE (KAY) KILOSKY November 25, 1914 - January 10, 2002 It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my best friend. Mom passed away on January 10, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital. She was 87 years young. A lung cancer survivor since 1989, Mom finally lost her long battle with heart disease although she fought it to the very end. She was predeceased by her mother in 1963, her father in 1964, and her husband Kasimer on February 7, 2001. As well as me, her daughter Gloria, she is survived by her brother John. Besides her family, Mom loved her garden, animals (even I suspect that rabbit that always dug up her lawn, and ate her vegetables), but most of all she loved to travel - California, Arizona, Washington, DC, and her special favourites: Daytona Beach and Las Vegas. During the last few years when her health prevented her from travelling any great distance, Thief River Falls, Bemidji, Sioux Falls, and Mahnomen became her favourite getaways. I would like to thank the paramedics, the fire department, and the 911 operators who responded to my calls on both December 15 and January 9. I would also like to thank Dr. M. E. Burke for his years of care and Dr. T. Horan who gave Mom 12 years she would otherwise not have had. Thank you also to Rev. Harry Ritchie and Pastor Larry Hirst for their prayers. At Moms request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If friends so desire, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 would be appreciated. Goodnight Mom TILL WE MEET AGAIN Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
