PAUL JOE SAMMY TROUT It is with sadness that we announce the passing, in Winnipeg, on January 11, 2002 of Sam Trout. He was born at Gods Lake Narrows on April 9, 1952. He will be missed by his wife Rita; son Morris (Doreen) and their daughter Jocelyn; daughter Samantha; son Joseph; and grandchildren. Sam is also survived by his uncle Gab Trout (Mary) of Gods Lake Narrows; brothers, Andy (Jean), Billy, Jimmy (Ruth), Nickolas (Noreen) and numerous nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ellen Trout and by his sister Maryann. Sam accepted whatever life handed him with easy grace. He was forgiving and bore no grudges. He had a special ability to laugh at himself. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, January 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m., at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
