ORIZE M. COUTU Peacefully on December 10, 2001 at the Convalescent Home, Orize Coutu passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip (1988) and her sisters, Denise, Mary Rose, and Yvonne. Orize is survived by her four children, Roger, Louise, Edward and Mary Jane; daughter-in-law Maria Coutu; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Blanche and Patricia; and her brothers, Leo and Roger. Funeral mass celebrating Orizes life will be held Friday, January 18, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Church Corydon and Stafford with Fr. Joseph Johnson S.J. officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. The family would like to extend their warmest thanks to the staff at the Convalescent Home for the excellent care they provided for Orize over the years, and Fr. Joseph Johnson S.J. for his care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Orizes memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
