LYDIA HELEN SCHOFIELD On January 14, 2002 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Helen Schofield, aged 80 years, of Clandeboye, MB, passed away peacefully. Helen was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1990; three brothers, Bill, John and Donald Anderson; son-in-law Ernie Sprowl; and three brothers-in-law, Pat Broadfoot, Alan Lang and Ed Knight. She leaves surviving two daughters, Evelyn Sprowl of Clandeboye and Thelma Harrison (Murray) of Selkirk; one son Samuel of Clandeboye; grandchildren, Lynn Szalai (Robert), Kenneth Harrison and Christina Harrison (Ramsey) great-grandchildren, Michael, Savana, Sean, Pheaton and Khloe; one brother Ernest Anderson (Adele) of Winnipeg; sisters, Florence Anderson, Mary Inman (Art) and Lillian Lang, all of Stonewall, Jenny Broadfoot of Woodlands and Marjorie Knight of Balmoral; sisters-in-law, Minnie Anderson of Winnipeg, Margaret Anderson of Woodlands, Alice Anderson of Stonewall and Myla Schofield of Clandeboye; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Rev. Canon Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Interment in the St. Georges Cemetery, Wakefield. Her pallbearers will be Corey Brandson, Ramsey Waytiuk, Robert and Lynn Szalai and Brian and Kenneth Harrison. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
