Date of Passing: Jul 26, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCUS NDUNGO (YOUNG) MITHAMO Marcus was born Thursday, July 26, 2001 at 9:20 p.m. at the Womens Hospital, Winnipeg, to very loving and proud parents. He weighed 4 lbs., 9 ounces when he entered this world a few short months ago. Marcus parents, Stephanie Young Ndungo and Andrew Ndungo loved Marcus very much and were never tired of visiting him. Marcus taught us not to take life for granted, to love one another and be a family no matter what happens. Our little son was a great teacher as tiny and young as he was. Our little boy was a very special gift from our Creator who gave us the chance to be the parents that Marcus needed so very much. He indeed was an angel. Marcus was a fighter, no matter how sick he was, he managed to give us a smile which made us very proud. At the end of our visits, we would kiss him and love him up, until the next day when we would go back and visit. Marcus knew his dads touch. Marcus would hold his daddys hand and hold it against his cheek. He was "Daddys" little boy and he made sure he would let "Mommy" know that. Marcus knew when we visited him as he would get very excited getting his monitor going crazy, thereby making the nurses work harder. Marcus loved his baths, but what he loved the most was getting his hair washed and having his feet massaged. No matter how the day was, he would open his big grey eyes and "batting" his long eyelashes at us, something he perfected. "Son, we will always love you and we will never forget you. You will be forever in our hearts." Marcus went home to the Lord, Thursday, December 13, 2001, 9:10 p.m. at Edmonton, Alberta, where he was awaiting his second open heart surgery. He slipped away peacefully. Now he is in no more pain, he is free, our little angel, our little baby boy.
