Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPRISCILLA M. TOEWS On Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at the Maplewood Manor in Steinbach, Mrs. Priscilla M. Toews of Steinbach, formerly of Grafton, ND, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by four sons, Lorne (Vada) of Grafton, ND, Eugene (Joyce) of Grafton, ND, James (Charis) of Middleton, MI, Larry (Marina) of Pisek, ND; three daughters, Norma (Lawrence) Reimer of Cromer, MB, Linda (Howard) Toews of Altona, MB, Janet of Park River, ND; 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grand-children, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Abram P. Toews on August 24, 1989, one son Burton in 1940, one granddaughter Katherine Reimer in 1985, two brothers, three sisters. Priscilla Toews was born September 10, 1909 at Greenland, MB, the daughter of Jacob P.T. and Eliza Wiebe. She married Abram Toews on November 23, 1930. They lived and farmed near Langdon, ND, retiring in 1977. They then moved to the Grafton area where they lived for 10 years. For the past 15 years she lived in Steinbach. A short memorial service will be held at Maplewood Manor in Steinbach on Friday, January 18 at 9:00 a.m., with Minister Lorne Toews officiating. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Grafton Mennonite Church in Grafton, ND. Visitation to be held on Thursday, January 17 at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, January 18 at Tollefson Funeral Chapel in Grafton, ND between 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Grafton Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach. 204-326-1351.
