Derek leaves to mourn his special friend Michael; parents, Myrna Tessier and Bill Boubard; brothers and sisters, Anita, Billy, Charlotte and Jason; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; grandparents, Rene Spence, Virginia Bunn and Francis Boubard; foster parents, Leslie and Myrna Sinclair and family. Wake services are held Tuesday, through Friday at Virginia and John Bunns residence, and funeral services on Saturday, January 19 at Sagkeeng Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Viewing at 1:00 p.m. Wake services and funeral to follow in Winnipeg. Aboriginal Funeral Home, 724 Selkirk Ave., in care of arrangements. "You will shed a lot of tears of sorrow and that is okay, but do not grieve too long for death is not a death, it is just a change of worlds and I am in a better world where I will be waiting for you. When you are weeping I am there watching you and know I am trying to comfort you."
