GEORGIANNA HEBERT VERMETTE (nee GODON) March 8, 1908 - January 17, 2002 Peacefully, on Thursday, January 17, 2002 at the Tache Nursing Home, Georgianna passed away at the age of 93. She will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Terry Bouvier and Yvonne Fortier (Clement) 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Hebert. Georgianna was predeceased by her first husband, Aloysius Hebert (1950) and her second husband Louis Vermette; as well as her two sons, Denis Hebert (1986), Edouard Hebert (1990) and son-in-law, Richard Bouvier. Georgiannas parents were Joseph Godon and Marie Forget. She began life in St. Alphonse before moving to Saint Boniface. She eventually worked for the Canadian National Railway for 25 years. Mom will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her utmost generosity to family, friends, and strangers. She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren and with her own lifes experiences; she could always be counted on to offer support or encouragement when our lives hit some rough spots. Memorial mass will be held Tuesday, January 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint-Boniface Cathedral, 190 rue Cathedrale with Monseigneur Frechette officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. We will miss your beautiful smile, Mom, Memere. Nous taimons et nous ne toublierons jamais.
