KATHERINE RUSK (nee REITER) October 25, 1928 - January 17, 2002 It is with heavy hearts and much sadness we announce the sudden passing of Katherine, at the age of 73. Katherine will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Hilliard of 55 years, her daughters, Shirley Watts (Len), Linda Perkins (Bill), and Susan Horvath (Glen) her grandchildren, Cheryl, Rob (Andrea), William (Lynne), Kathy, and Jamie; her great-grandchildren, Eric, Tyler, Emma, Joel, and Natasha. Mom is also survived by her sisters, Beatrice, Eva, and Frieda; and her brother Leo. Mom was predeceased by her son Harvey. Active pallbearers will be her sons-in-law, Len, Bill, and Glen; grandsons, Rob and William; and great-grandson Eric. A funeral service celebrating Katherines life will be held on Wednesday, January 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing one-half hour before the service. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6 would be appreciated by her family in honour of their dearly beloved mother and wife. Mom will be remembered for her love and devotion, her love of gardening and her passion for roses. Sleep now and forever rest in peace.
