FAYGL (FAYE) SCHACHTER (RESNICK) She was loved and she loved well. That is her legacy. On Thursday, January 10, the 26 of Tevet at the age of 79, Faye died peacefully with family by her side. Faye leaves to mourn her five children and their spouses, Mimi Gess (Mordi) of Israel, Shalom (Marcy) of Toronto, Josef (Patty) of Calgary, Yale (Diane) of Winnipeg, and Tina Duskis (Richard-Moshe) of Atlanta; sister Sylvia (Sid) of Israel; brother Ben (Hannah) of New York; the father of her children, Zalman of Boulder, Colorado; 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Fayes two deepest loves were her love of her family and her devotion to Judaism. Despite her failing health, less than a week before she died, she expressed that she had never been happier. Special thanks to Dr. Pariser, and especially to Shalom and Marcy for the wonderful care they gave Faye. We miss you beyond words, Faye, but you will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. Should friends desire, donations may be made in Fayes memory to the Chabad Centre, 900 Alness St., Suite 202, Toronto, ON M3H 2H6 or the Lymphoma Foundation, Suite 4200, P.O. Box 20, Toronto, ON M5K 1N6.
