EDWARD LEONARD COLEMAN July 15, 1931 - January 18, 2002 It is with great sadness that we tell you of the passing of Ted, after a brief illness. Ted died peacefully at home with his family by his side and holding him. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife Doris of 49 years. Also mourning him are his children, Linda, Rick and grandson Kelly and great-grandson Nickey. Gary, Tannis and grandchildren, Hailey, Clare and Graeme. Dianne, Jacob and grand-children, Melissa, Vanessa and Jacob Jr. and daughter Debra. Teds life was eventful and filled with adventure. At 16 years of age he joined the Merchant Navy and travelled the world. After that he was employed by British Airways. From 1984 until his retirement in 1996 he was employed by Canadian Airlines International where he made many friendships. He always had a joke a minute and created lots of laughter both in the workplace and at home. He has left a terrible void in our lives. Mourning him in England is his sister Renee and her family, his sister Alicia and her family; his cousins, Margaret and Gwenny and their respective families. Also grieving are our mum and dad Ethel and Tom; his sister-in-law Valerie and her husband Ed, his niece Carrie and nephew Andrew all of whom have been a great source of comfort and help at this time, and last but not least, his life-long friend Harry and his wife Audrey in England. A private memorial service will take place, and in lieu of flowers you may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Ted: Goodbye. We will be together again some day. Dad: Goodbye. Well miss you forever. Grandad: Goodbye. Well miss you. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
