Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBIK FONG CHIN On January 24, 2002, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Bik Fong Chin left this life peacefully to be with our Lord. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Kee Ove Chin; and their five children, Helen (Henry), Sandy (Ramon), Irene, George (Lorrie), and Elaine (Sean). She will be dearly missed by her seven grandchildren, Winnie, Jennifer, Elisa, Christopher, Alexander, Nicolas and Braeden. She is also survived by her brother Kwok F. Gee, his wife and her nieces and nephews. She was born in Canton, China, on June 2, 1930, and came to Canada in 1969. She was a caring, devoted wife and mother and a proud and doting grandmother to all her grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Monday, January 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29 at Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church, 261 Colony St. Interment to follow the service at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Refreshments will be served following at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank Dr. C. Yeung, the nursing and support staff on Unit 3 at Victoria General Hospital, as well as the elders and pastoral staff at Winnipeg Chinese Alliance Church.
