FLORENCE SARAH LARKIN (nee FROST) December 1, 1922 - January 21, 2002 It is with heavy hearts and much sadness we announce the sudden passing of Florence Larkin, at Victoria General Hospital with her family at her side. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon and Neil Barbour, Linda and Laurie Storey, Carol and Sterling Fraser, Robert Larkin and Cheryl Pelletier and Lori Larkin; also her very special grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Deanna, Scott and Nancy, Ryan and Stacy (Ariana, Ethan, Noah), Brent, Melissa, James, Jenny, Derek and Devon. She is survived by her brother Ray (Dianne) Frost; sister Lillian Coram; sisters-in-law, Linda Frost and Phyllis Pirotton; also her longtime friends, Marg and Stu Lawson. Florence was born and raised in Winnipeg. She married Charlie in 1943 and together they raised their family in St. James. Florence was a devout Christian and was actively involved in St. James Presbyterian Church. Her favourite pastimes were family times, preparing family meals and scrumptious baking. She also enjoyed a cup of tea with her numerous close friends, listening to music and shopping. Mom was a remarkable woman who touched so many people in her very special ways and endeared herself to all who knew her. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ray Singer for his dedicated care and concern over the years. A memorial service will be held at St. James Presbyterian Church, on Friday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Beth McCutcheon officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
