MIKE WOLIGROSKI, JR. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Mike, at the age of 78, on Monday, January 21, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Mike leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Anne (Przednowek), of 54 years; his daughter Patricia (Gerald) his son Ronald (Patricia) and his grandchildren, Andrea Thibault (Chris) and Brenden and Trevor Woligroski. He also leaves to mourn his brother Harry of Winnipeg; his sisters, Teenie and Mary of Florida, Lena of Los Angeles, Stella (Victor) of Beausejour; and his brother-in-law Edward Przednowek (Marie Rose) of Winnipeg; also many nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Mike, Sr. and Mary; his brother William and his sister Anne. Dad was born in Lowland, MB, on August 19, 1923, where he farmed until 1957. He became an electrician and worked throughout Manitoba, Ontario and the United States. In 1963, he began work at AECL in Pinawa, where he retired in 1984. Grandpa enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter in his earlier years. He received recognition last summer for his role in establishing the nature trails in Wally Chryplywy Park. He spent many summers camping at Otter Falls and many winters in Florida. Mike had many pastimes such as fixing old cars, photography and woodworking. He was a Fourth Degree Knight and secretary-treasurer for the Knights of Columbus, Beausejour Council. Mike was a musician who loved playing many instruments. He enjoyed watching his son and grandsons playing baseball and hockey. Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Park Ave., Beausejour, with Rev. Fr. Ivan Demkiv the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his nephews, Tom Garbolinski, Malcom Woligrocki, Julian Woligroski and Michael Przednowek and his grandsons, Brenden and Trevor Woligroski.
