EVELYN MAY McKEE Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Evelyn passed away on Monday, January 21, 2002 with her family by her side. A lifelong Manitoba resident, Evelyn was born in Winnipeg on October 7, 1922. She married the love of her life, the late Sam McKee and spent many happy years with him in Winnipeg and Minnedosa. They raised two children, a son Barry (Tum) of Bangkok, Thailand, and a daughter Dale Holland (Mike) of Fargo, ND. They enjoyed travels in the USA, Europe, and Asia. Evelyn assisted Sam throughout his career as president of Agristeel Ltd. in Minnedosa and other business ventures. Evelyn lived every day with passion, style and grace. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be mourned and missed by her children, Barry and Dale; her grandchildren, Shannon, Nicole, Scott, Ian and Marni; and her great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the caring staff at the Portsmouth Retirement Residence and the exceptional staff on third floor medical at the Victoria General Hospital.
