EDWARD NORMAND Peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2002, after a short illness Edward Normand passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 74 years. Edward was predeceased by his wife Theresa of 48 years, sister Annette Martin, brothers, Armand and Robert Normand. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his children, Brenda, Paul (Wilna), Julie Nobess, Valerie (Rick) Nobess, Marilyn and David all of Winnipeg; one granddaughter Danielle; six grandsons and honorary pallbearers, Adam, Jean-Paul, Matthew, Aaron, Kyle, and Jesse; brothers, Eugene, Henry and Marcel; sisters, Mariette and Lorette; and extended family and friends. Edward was a very devoted family man, easy going, and kind hearted. Some of his favourite things were jigging, dancing the polka, listening to country music, as well as playing shuffle board, and horse shoes. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home. Private family interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens will follow.
