RANDLE (RANDY) CLARK It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Randy Clark, aged 60, who passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at his residence. Randy will be lovingly remembered by Joan Swirski, his soulmate, his partner and best friend for the past 20 years, also her son Scott, Randys sons, Paul (Jackie), and Jeff (Shana) and grandchildren, Samantha, Sydney and Shoal; sisters, Mildred (Tom) Silvester of Winnipeg, Gayle Fix of Oak Bluff, and Faye (Jim) Wagner of Florida; Uncle Reginald Clark and Auntie June (John) Jones of Winnipeg; numerous nieces, nephews, and many personal and close friends. He was predeceased by his father, George and most recently his mother Elizabeth in the fall, 2001. His memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Randy was born in Saint John, NB and moved at a very young age to Winnipegs west end. A graduate of Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate, Randy pursued a career in Radio engineering (Neil East Broadcasting) based primarily located at CJOB, a sales career with the Winnipeg Sun and currently his own business for the last seven years - Clark Construction - contract installer with the Home Depot for their kitchen division. Randy has lived the last 30 years in the Crestview/Westwood area of St. James and was an ardent lover of the outdoors, and in particular fishing. Many hours were spent "casting a line" winter and summer. He loved his boat and enjoyed many hours cruising on the Red River through the locks into the Lockport and Selkirk areas as well West Hawk Lake. Randy was a super/duper handyman and was always ready to give someone building advice, the swing of a hammer, or the cut of a saw whenever he was asked. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Randys life will take place on Monday, January 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. officiated by Rev. Ken Innes. A reception will to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. Love you sweetie, Joan. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
