WILLIAM STETWICK William passed away on January 25, 2002, peacefully in his sleep at home. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lena; step-daughter Linda and Ron Vermeulen of Vancouver; sisters, Anne Teleban and Mary Koshlay of Windsor, ON; and brother Tony Stetkewich of Winnipeg. Also nieces, Cindy Stetkewich (Winnipeg) and Sharon Koshlay (Brian) and their children, Jeremy and Jessica of Windsor; brother-in-law Mike Geluch, Phyllis and their children, John and Pat and family (Winnipeg) sisters-in-law, Helen Smerchanski (Gimli) and Mary Stetkewich (Winnipeg) and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Pauline Stetkewich; sister Nellie and brother Nick. William was born in Komarno on January 14, 1926. He served in the Army in Canada and overseas. Living in Michigan for many years, he moved back to Winnipeg in 1987. "At journeys end, I am home at rest." Pallbearers are Allen Boitson, Pete Stechkewich, Ruth Stechkewich, Edward Stechkewich, Paul Stetchkewich and Linda Vermeulen. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Stetkewich and Mike Geluch. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 29, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, at 9:30 a.m. also at Cropo. Private interment will follow at Komarno Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Williams memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
