ELSA WERSCH Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg Elsa Wersch, at the age of 82, joined her loved ones in heaven. Elsa is survived by her brothers, Ernie and Arthur; three children, Carolyn, Bill and Ron; grandchildren, Charles, Stuart, Scott, Christina and David; and great-grandchildren, Marlana and Marcus. She was predeceased by her husband Edward William, sister Helen (Dot), and brothers, Henry and Theodore. Elsa was born and raised in the Emerson, MB area and moved to Winnipeg as a young woman where she met and married the love of her life - Ed. Mum always loved to bake and derived much happiness watching people enjoy the labour of her love. After retiring as a baker of several decades, Elsa set her sights south to Boissevain where she returned to the small town life style that she loved and spent many happy days with her brother Art. Sincere thanks to all the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their caring support. The family will be celebrating her life in a private gathering. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Elsas memory to a charity of ones choice.
