WILFRED JAMES PAUL (PALLETTE) BLUE THUNDERBIRD MAN Peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2002 at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home Wilfred Paul, aged 62 years of Lake Manitoba First Nation. Wilfred was born March 16, 1939 at Lake Manitoba First Nation. He fished on Lake Manitoba for many years and also trapped. He loved playing baseball in his younger years, and also going to bingo. He leaves to mourn his wife Florence (Juice) his children, Michael (Darlene), Elizabeth (Miguel), Albert (Lynn), Cecil, Ivan, Tina (Lawrence), Charles (Madeline) one sister Isabelle Maytwayashing; his grandchildren, Joseph, Leo, Mikey, Justin, William, Joshua, Christopher, Benjamin, Charles, Emily, Brendon, Richard, Corrine, Shadow, Nancy, Shayna and Brittany. He was predeceased by his father Moise; his mother Elize; sisters, Pauline Edwards, Mary Jane Maytwayashing, Ida Desjarlais, Lizzie Spence, Harriet Paul and Angeline Desjarlais; brothers, Joe Paul, Albert Paul, Napolean Paul, Harvey Maytwayashing, Andrew Choken, and one grandchild Corey William Sinclair. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, January 30 at his residence on Lake Manitoba Reserve, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church with Father Mike Nwosu officiating. Interment to follow in the Lake Manitoba Reserve Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Douglas Paul, Ronald Paul, Howard McLean, Wesley Chippeway, Mike Hawkins and Kevin Choken.
