PETER SPAPENS 1930 - 2002 Of Paradise Village, Ste. Anne. Surrounded by the love of his family, our beloved husband, dad and opa passed away on January 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nellie Spapens; their daughters, Sheila (Gerald), Theresa (Glenn) and his five grandchildren, Garrett, Dayton, Landon, Emily and Kristina. Opa was truly the light of their lives and he will be so very deeply missed by them all. As per his express wishes, cremation and a private family celebration of his life has already taken place. The family is appreciative of all the efforts and compassion given to us by the staff at Ste. Anne and Victoria Hospitals and especially St. Boniface Hospital for their extraordinary efforts. His wishes were respectfully honoured; he went on to his final sleep with dignity, peace, and surrounded by love. The family gratefully declines flowers.
