Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADA MARGARET (MARGE) BROADBENT Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax, NS on January 20, 2002, in her 80th year. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Edith May Russell of Alexander, MB. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be sadly missed by daughters, Frances, Toronto; Barbara, Lower Sackville; sister Kathleen Allum, Brandon MB; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. After more than thirty years with the T. Eaton Co. in Winnipeg, she retired to Nova Scotia in 1986. She was well known in the community for her support and activities at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church and in the schools attended by her grandchildren. Her strength and courage as she faced the physical limitations of obstructive lung disease, osteoporosis and recent cancer will continue to be an inspiration to her family. She was predeceased by her husband William Ross (Bill) sisters, Hazel, Edith, Cordelia and brother Ernest. A private cremation took place at the Atlantic Funeral Home in Sackville. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, in the Spring. Date and time will be published. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
