GABRIEL ST. ONGE (1919 - 2002) It is with sadness we announce the passing of my husband, our father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Flore (nee Lapointe) of 57 years; his children, Lucille (Larry) Desrochers, Claudette (Eddy) Vermette, Denise (Ray) Burnell, Raymond (Annette Belisle), Marielle (Mitch) Cloutier, Julien (Judy Anderson), Valerie (Guy) Sylvestre, Patricia Perreault (Blair Drabik), Doreen; his brothers, Gerard (Claudette) and Paul (Jeanne). Gabriel was predeceased by a granddaughter Janelle and great-grandson Quintin. He will be remembered for his passion of playing the fiddle. He was a handyman who enjoyed helping everyone. He was a devoted parishioner at the Precieux-Sang Parish. In spite of his health he lived his life with dignity and determination. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1 at the Precieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St., with viewing at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Our sincere thank you goes to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital (fifth floor) and the staff at Deer Lodge (sixth floor) and Tache Centre (fourth floor). We also wish to express our appreciation to Drs. Frank and Wilfred Albi.
