Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINOCENCIO (INCIONG) BARIS 1910 - 2002 Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 22, 2002, our beloved father and grandfather passed away to be with our Lord. He was predeceased by his wife Leonila; parents, Ambrocio and Josefa; daughter Amelia Declaro; and five brothers and two sisters. He will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren, Carolina (Bill) Sery, Leilani and Theodore (Wisconsin, U.S.A.) Rudy (Cora) Baris, Vincent and Geralyn Chastity (Winnipeg, MB), Visitacion (Renato) Ongpauco, Ryan Benedict (Philippines), Jaime (Tessie) Baris, Janice Jane and Jessie James (Winnipeg), Diogenes (son-in-law) Declaro, Emmalyn, Sheryl Lynne, Lyndon and Rose Bernadette (Philippines), and his other children, Editha, Rodolfo and Lorenza and their children (Philippines). "Inciong", as he was known, was born in Isabela, Philippines and came to Canada in 1978. A very independent and active person, he always went out with his friends, whether rain or shine. A very kind, happy, warm-hearted individual, he was not only generous to his children and grandchildren, but to his senior friends by always lending them money if they were in need. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. The family would like to thank the nurses of Unit 5 of the Medicine Ward (5th floor) at the Victoria General Hospital for their care and support. Lamay will be held Sunday, February 3 and Monday, February 4 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. at the Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 168 Worth St., with Fr.
