ALEXANDER CAMPBELL (CAM) MARSHALL The family sadly announces the passing of Cam Marshall on Friday, January 25, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre. Cam was born in Winnipeg after his family emigrated from Scotland. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Susan; and his brothers, Johnny and Bill. Cam is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Orpha, his children, Arla (Terral) and Cam (Patricia). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Terral, Devon, Lauren and Alex. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was wounded in action while serving with the Fort Garry Horse. The West Kildonan Legion, Br. #30, of which he was a life member, was of special importance to Cam. He enjoyed friendships, committees, concert parties, curling, trips, and numerous good times there. Cam was interested in politics, actively supporting and canvassing for the N.D.P. He was also president of the Typographical Union for a period of time. A printer by trade, he worked at The Winnipeg Tribune, Universal Printers and Canadian Publishers. Cam enjoyed travelling with his family, as well as with many longtime friends. He had happy memories of great times at Matlock and at their cottage in Belair. He enjoyed his life to the fullest. Many thanks to all of our friends for their support.
