Shirley Anne came into my life in 1974 when I was 9. She is now my role model for a stepmother in 2016. Shirley Anne had a lasting impact on my life. I was blessed to be one of the recipients of her love, as was my daughter, Ruby. I miss her and think of her almost every day. I would not be the woman I am without her in my life, nor so well-dressed. She is also my fashion role model. She was a gift to our family. Thank You God! - Posted by: Leila Gabel (Step daughter) on: Dec 01, 2016

I remember Ms. Teplitsky. She was my favorite Teacher. Always smiling, laughing, we often spoke to one another. I remember us doing Midnight Summer's Dream play. She made my experience at St. John's distinctive. It's only now I found out that she passed and that she was Jewish, I had no clue, as am I. I simply adored her. She made me intrigued and I felt secure in her class. she always had an ear for me. I could bring to her any issue and she did help me. Not one student could say she wasn't an excellent role model, nor teacher. I heard she passed, wish I would of known. May Ha'Shem bless you, I'm sure he has. G-d bless, R.I.P. My very special English teacher, the most sweetest woman in the entire school. I am one of her fans. Always remembered, never forgotten. Especially your beautiful brown hair including your stylish outfits. I say I love you and have been truly blessed to be your student in the 70's, thank you very much. You laughter is one fond memory, your kindess was outstanding. - Posted by: Esther Haber (Student) on: Mar 01, 2015
