MARGARET ALICE MacNAUGHTEN With great sadness we announce the passing of Alice MacNaughten at the family home, in which she had lived for all of her 81 years. Survived by cousins, Charles Evans and Beth Mitchell of New Westminster, June Chambers of Calgary, and Bill Evans of Winnipeg, she was predeceased by her father Joseph, a railway engineer, in the late 1950s and mother Rubena in the late 1960s. After retiring from a lengthy career with the CNIB, Alice dedicated her work to St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church for many years. Her life was focused on the church, including St. James Anglican in her latter years, her cats, and an interest in steam locomotives. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 4, at 1:30 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, with Canon John Caird officiating. Interment will be in St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery.
