MANUELA GOMES It is with great sorrow that we announce the accidental passing of Manuela Gomes at the age of 43. Manuela is survived by her husband John; children, Candice, Andre and Jessica; parents, Manuel and Emelia Da Silva; sisters, Alice (Jose), Celeste (Alfredo), Zita (Louis), Lurdes (Marques) brothers, Fernando (Jezinha), Joao (Alzira) and Antonio; sister-in-law Fernanda (Andre Massicotte) and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Manuela came to Canada from Portugal in 1982 to share her life with John. Manuela was a loving Mom to her three children. Manuela expelled a radiant love for those around her. Her smile was contagious. Manuela gave to others all her life, she continues to give even after death. Prayers will be said on Monday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 10:00 a.m. also in Immaculate Conception Parish. Entombment will follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum, Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre, family and friends for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gomes Family Trust, Bank of Montreal, 335 Main St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2C1. Lord Jesus please watch over my baby, give her peace.
