GRACIA HERNTIER (nee CHARTRAND) September 7, 1937 - January 29, 2002 On Tuesday, January 29, 2002 Grace Herntier passed away at the age of 64 years. She is survived by Warren OReiley and will be sadly missed by her five children, Sterling (Carol), Tony (Ana), Laurie (Winston), Ted, and Murray (Bonnie) by her seven grandchildren, Jill, Jacklyn, Tamara, Kyle, Allison, Tyler, and Naomi; by her mother Elizabeth Chartrand; her siblings, Nelson, Brian, Marvin, and Tommy. Grace was predeceased by her father Harry Chartrand; her siblings, Paul, Joseph, George, and Theresa Ledoux. Grace was born in Camperville, MB on September 7, 1937. She was the second oldest of nine children born to Harry and Elizabeth Chartrand. The family moved to Duck Bay, MB where they permanently resided. Grace was married to Raymond Herntier and during their tenure, owned and operated a rural taxi, campground and outfitter business. Grace later moved to Winnipeg where she resided until her death. The family would like to thank the fifth floor staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their time and compassion. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. of Sunday, February 3 at the Community Hall, Duck Bay, MB. Ernie Urbanowski officiating. Funeral service scheduled for Monday, February 4 at 10:30 a.m., St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Duck Bay; Rev. Fr. R.Sarce as celebrant. Interment at Duck Bay Parish Cemetery.
