MARY KOLBA Peacefully, on Friday, February 1, 2002, Mary Kolba passed away at the Concordia Place Care Centre at the age of 81 years. Mary was recently predeceased by her husband Steven, to whom she was married to for over 57 years. Mary is survived by her daughters, Linda (George) Catchpole, Irene (Ken) Steinke, Carolyn Kolba (Manny Vaz) brother-in-law Bill (Elsie) Kolba; as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away. You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, "Come with Me." So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. Always remembered, always cherished. Each memory a part of us, A part of you, Never to be lost. Marys family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Place, Chaplain John Friesen and Mary Ann for their care. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Wednesday, February 6, at 2:00 p.m. Interment Garden of the Everlasting Life, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN ST. 338-7111
