LARRY CORRIGAL 1938 - 2002 Suddenly in his sleep Larry Corrigal passed away at his home at the age of 63. Larry is survived by his wife Judy of 41 years; daughters, Debra (Keith) and Lori (James) three sisters, Val, Sharon, and Linda (Harvey) two brothers, Norm (Joyce) and Dwight. Larry will be fondly remembered by Auntie Em; the late Auntie Vi; as well as his extended family and friends. Larry grew up in Winnipeg and he married his high school sweetheart at the age of 21. He then began his career as a butcher. In 1967, Larry started in sales at Lyman Tube. Larry started his own businesses: Westube, and later Corrigal Steel. He retired in 1995 to enjoy his golden years. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends at Spruce Sands and then at Valhalla Beach. He enjoyed riding his tractor, wood-working, golfing, and other outdoor activities. Larry took part in many social activities and he liked to visit with his neighbours and "chew the fat" (you know who you are). He also loved playing cards with the "old girls" (especially if he won). Donations in Larrys memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8, and the CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family invites you to join in the celebration of Larrys life at the chapel of the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint) on Saturday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
