MARY TRONEK On Monday, January 28, 2002, Mary, aged 92 years, passed away at Holy Family Nursing Home, where she resided since 1994. Mary was born September 10, 1909 in Broad Valley, MB, and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. She will be fondly remembered by her family, nieces, Anne and Patricia; nephews, Steve (Betty) and Ron (Edith) great-nieces and nephews; also the many friends that she made over the years. She will also be fondly remembered by Gail Day (whom Aunt Mary thought of as a daughter). Gail would regularly visit Aunt Mary when she lived on Douglas Street, Templeton Avenue, and at the Nursing Home. (Thanks Gail) Mary was predeceased by her parents, Matthew and Milania; husband Alex; sisters, Helen, Rose and Sadie and brother Peter. The family would like to say Thanks to the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for the great care they gave to her over the years that she was there. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Kytaychuk, Karl Kytaychuk, Denny Yaremkewich, Ronnie Yaremkewich, Brian Pearson and Don Sicotte.
