ANNE WIEBE (DYCK) November 26, 1918 - February 2, 2002 Anne Wiebe, nee Dyck, daughter of Peter J. U. Dyck and Maria (Wiens) was born on November 26, 1918 and died on February 2, 2002. She grew up on the family farm just north of Winkler with four sisters and four brothers, all of whom predeceased her except for Julius. She married Henry E. Wiebe on October 11, 1936. He grew up south of Morden and predeceased her on November 8, 1988. They had four children, Henry (Shirley Dyck), Clara (Frank Schroeder), John (Rita Krahn) and Marilyn (Brad Dyck). Besides her children, she is survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She had a difficult life and dealing with Alzheimers, which ultimately took her life, was hard for her family as well. From a Sommerfelder background, she found strength and community in the Grace Mennonite Church where she attended many years, and especially from the pastor, John Krahn. Funeral services will be held at Grace Mennonite Church in Winkler on Wednesday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Wiebe Funeral Homes of Winkler.
