CAYETANA (TANING) MANGLIGOT LACAMBRA August 7, 1918 - January 31, 2002 On January 31, 2002, the angels came and took our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend home. Peacefully, at St. Boniface General Hospital, she closed her eyes in eternal rest. Born in Sanchez Mira Cagayan Philippines. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sylvia (Samson) Torres, son-in-law Benny Membrere, Nellie (Nahum) Tablit in the Philippines, Monico Jr. (Vangie) Lacambra, Tessie (Rico) De Vera, Rosie (Ray) Racca, and Ellery (Luz) Lacambra of Vancouver; grand-children, Jenny (Carlos) Montano, Michelle (Jo) Rodriguez, Jeanette (Alvin), Hiyasmin (Richard S.). Kathleen (Richard F.), Roderick (Desiree), Richard, Clayton, Christopher, Monica Luchelle, Christian, Karen, Monico III, Russel, Nikko, and Felyn Kay; grandchildren in the Philippines, Mayolene, Marjorie (Melchor) Romano, Marlouie, Meynard, Mark Roseller, Meljane, Mark John, and Rayson; great-grandchildren, Roman, Aldin, Anthony, Nico, Ashley, Aljeff, Mathew, Daniel, and Selina; sisters, Lourdes (Gregorio) Castellano in Toronto, Esperanza (Bonny) Sadoy, and Albina San Pedro; and sisters-in-law, Trinidad, and Nena in the Philippines; brother Alejandro (Marcelina) Mangligot; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and families from Canada, the States, and the Philippines. Lola (grandma) was predeceased by her beloved husband Monico Sr.; her parents, Petra and Cirriaco; son Mariano; daughters, Jean and Daisy; and brothers, Emiliano and Jose. Lola, we all love you and we will never forget your amazing inner strength and your zest for life. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the wonderful and fond memories you have left behind for us to cherish forever and the continuous and unconditional love, support, and generosity you had given to us during your time with us. We take great comfort in knowing that you are now in a far better place than here on earth and that after so many years apart, you are finally reunited with Lolo (grandpa) again. Rest peacefully Lola. We all miss you dearly. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of 5A south at the St. Boniface General Hospital for all their caring and compassion during our Lolas time there and friends who paid their visits while in the hospital. Viewing (Lamay) will be held Friday, February 8 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight). Service to be officiated by Rev. Dr. Ray Cuthbert at 8:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the Philippines. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
