ROY BERNARD WALKER Peacefully on February 2, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer, Roy Walker passed away at the age of 78, in St. Boniface Hospital. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Mary; son Ron (Nettie) grandsons, Dustin and Tim of Salmon Arm, BC; daughter Sandra (Randy) Dobson; special pal Casey and numerous relatives and friends. Roy was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Louise. Roy was an R.C.N. Veteran and served with the Navy Reserves, and was a member of The Norwood Legion for many years. Roys hobbies included gardening, reading and "puttering" around the house. Roy was a very caring and creative man and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the homecare workers, nurses, doctors and staff of Palliative Care - St. Boniface Hospital.
