FREDRICK BRETT GUDMUNDSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Fredrick Brett Gudmundson on February 4, 2002 at the age of 43. Fred will be missed by his mother Carol Thora Sigurdson; sons, Darcy, Arron and Leif; brother Darren; and niece Grace Gudmundson. As well as his aunts, Millie, Charlene (Don), and Brenda (Gordon) uncles, Emerson (Marlyn) and Lorne; and his many cousins and friends across Canada and in the United States. Fred was born in Wadena, SK on November 26, 1958 and spent his younger years in Mozart, Yorkton, and Saskatoon before moving to Winnipeg in 1973. Fred was a voracious reader and possessed a keen intellect. He was always up to the challenge of discussing the issues of the day or greater philosophical and political ideas and ideals. Whether driven by curiosity, courage or conviction; "Fearless" as he was known to many of his friends, would often tread into areas where most others would not. Above all, Fred was a proud and loving father. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
