CLIFFORD WILLIAM HERDMAN Peacefully, on February 6, 2002, after a short illness, Clifford William Herdman passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 66. Cliff was born in England on January 19, 1936. He was predeceased by his wife Di (October, 1981) and will be sadly missed by his children, Steve (Brenda), Karen and Judy (Pete). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Aimee, Isaac, Chelsea, Jennifer, Jordan and Justin; and his sister Marion (Roy) Gould from England. He also leaves to mourn his friend and partner Debbie Dault and her family, and many nieces and nephews. As a young man, Cliff joined the British Army as a paratrooper. He also spent time racing motorcycles. Cliffs children were all born in England and the family immigrated to Canada, where Cliff continued his enjoyment of the outdoors. As a family, we spent many summers fishing, canoeing and camping. Dad also spent many hours coaching soccer and at the rinks with hockey and ringette, and later developed a love for the game of golf. Dad also enjoyed his dogs and spent many hours walking on the floodway with them. Dad always loved to be behind the wheel of a vehicle heading down the highway. Dad will be remembered for his kind heart and the love of his grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of A6 South at the St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. R. Davey, Dr. Foerster and Dr. Cooke. Also special thanks to all the wonderful friends for their support during his illness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Monday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cliffords memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
